GRADUATION 2018

WAY TO GO, ANDREW!

Ruth & Sara, Welcome to 1st Grade!

Andrew will be enrolling at Hyles-Anderson in the fall along with his brother, Angel, and our other graduates Joel and Brenda.  Andrew plans to major in missions and would like to join his dad here in Monterrey working in our missions program.

Sara's father graduated from the Bible Institute this year.  Their family will be moving to Michoacán, MX, where he will serve as an assistant pastor.  Their ministry does not have a Christian school so Sara will be homeschooled for first grade.

Ruth will continue her education here in first grade with us.

Although also out for the summer, I thought you might enjoy a few pics from the last week of school:

Soulwinning

We continue to have 100+ soulwinners out on Thursday nights with over 200 saved each week.  We are seeing an increase in our visitors on Sundays as well as in our number of returning visitors.

One of the Bus Captains found the housing for migrant workers to and from South and Central America.  He feeds a meal to those who attend services with him.  These workers are from Haiti, El Salvador, and even a few from Cuba, as well as southern Mexico and other places.  We have seen scores of these young men accept Christ in our services.

Update on My New House

A big thank you to those who have contributed to the necessity of re-making a house for me.  The men have cleared out the land for the addition to the existing house.  We were able to make a trip to Texas to purchase a door, three windows, and a bathtub.
(Also, bathroom accessories were on sale at Ross!)
Most of the funds for these items were provided by one very good friend of mine and my great friends from my sending church, Heritage Baptist in Hot Springs.

For those interested in being a blessing: I still need tile, sinks, an air conditioner, a toilet, plumbing, appliances, a bed, tables, and several other things in order to be able to move in to my own house.  Any and all help for these things will be greatly appreciated.  The amounts below do not include the trip to the border to obtain the items or delivery fee if applicable for purchases here.

The estimated total needed is about $7, 136.
The total given so far is $1,102.

💙Appreciation 💙

Just a note to thank so many of you who continue to pray for our school, our students, and myself.  I do not usually take the time to view the stats on my blog, but this past week, I did look.  I am both honored and humbled at the number of "views."  I realize that every person may not read every word, but I trust that even those who only look at the pictures pause for a moment of a very busy life and say a prayer for Mount Hebron Christian Academy. Your prayer is much needed and much appreciated.
