BABY LUCAS ARRIVES!

| Lucas and Mama |
The much anticipated newest addition of the Ashcraft family, Lucas Henry, made his appearance on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at 10:55 am, weighing 7 lbs, 1 oz.
Everyone, especially Aunt Emily, is excited that he is here!
While waiting for him to be ready for visitors I got to spend time with Tommy and Jonathan. First we painted helicopters! Then
(try not to be jealous Hayden, Brayden, and Leland), we went swimming! (Sorry, no pool pics)

Waiting for Baby Lucas!
I got to spend the night with the twins on
Saturday and go to church with them on
Sunday. Their Granny made Sunday
dinner for all of us, then we went back
to the hospital to see Mama, Daddy,
and Lucas.

Soulwinning This Week:
On Friday, I had the privilege to go soulwinning with Mrs. Brenda Ashcraft. She had a good visit and a word of prayer with a lady who had recently broken her leg and stated that she had previously trusted Christ. At the next door was a man, his son, and two grandsons. Mrs. Brenda asked permission for the boys to hear a Bible story. She carries a book with pictures and Bible verses for children. Although the four-year-old did not quite understand, at the end of the story, the eight-year-old received Jesus into his heart! While we were with the children, Ana, another lady soulwinner from Mount Hebron Baptist Church, led the grandfather to the Lord. The address along with these names were turned in to the Bus Captain for that area for follow-up.
When I related this story to Jenny (who was great with child and unable to go soulwinning this Friday), she told me that people almost always listen to Mrs. Brenda. She has a voice that is easy to listen to and a way of making people feel very comfortable around her. Though I am sure that this is true, I also suspect that much prayer is involved in her witnessing efforts.
