Although it was a little rainy, the weather was not bad until we left Houston on Tuesday.  Only one wrong turn was made: I will let you guess which driver it was!
My New Office

“Elote!” –

this week’s favorite food.
Corn on the Cob Dipped in Mayo, Cheese, Chili, and / or two other things that I haven’t learned the words for yet J
Mine has lime, mayo, & chili.

It will probably take me a few days to finish getting settled in and unpacked.  Everyone here is very nice.  No one has made fun of my Spanish yet; they encourage me to try, and help me with the words I don’t know.

Parent's Page
Thank you so much for your encouragement and support for my journey.
So many of you were so overwhelmingly generous that I could not begin to express my appreciation to you.  May God bless each of you for your part in helping me to achieve His purposes.

Jonathan and Tommy love their Aunt Emmy
And their Aunt Emmy sure loves them!

Some Interesting Facts:

My office at the school is about the same size as my office at Superior Scholastic Skills.

My house, though, is only slightly larger; it is about 12’x18’.

Jon (Jenny’s husband) has set me up with high speed internet which includes some television service.

My parents bought me a Keurig (and gave me money) for my new house.

My best and oldest friend has linked me in with coffee pods for my Keurig.

For those concerned about my {not} eating here:

*Jenny is a wonderful cook!
*Jon’s Mom is a wonderful cook!
*Ravioli is not available for purchase here. J
*Fruits and vegetables are really cheap!
*A whole fresh pineapple cost 17 pesos
             (15 pesos = $1)

This is a pic from a previous visit.  I don't know how to crop it here, yet; but I thought you might enjoy seeing it.

    1. Thank you. I miss David and all the boys this summer. It has been a "cool" summer for here; which means the temperature hasn't reached 100* yet. i have only been here a week, though.
Love and prayer for you and David, too. <3
